MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE JEFFERSON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS HELD ON OCTOBER 23, 2017 AT THE JEFFERSON COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 220 NORTH MAIN, ROOM 102, WAURIKA, OKLAHOMA:

Chairman Martin called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.
Traci Smith acknowledged that proper notice was given on October 20, 2017 at 8:47 a.m. and the agenda was posted on the bulletin board outside the courthouse and posted on the first-floor bulletin board.

Phillips made the motion to Approve Meeting Minutes for October 16, 2017. Second: Bohot. Aye Votes: Martin/Bohot/Phillips. Motion Approved.
Phillips made the motion to Approve Claims and 1 Blanket Purchase Order. Second: Bohot. Aye votes: Martin/Bohot/Phillips. Motion Approved.
Phillips made motion to Approve Safety Meeting for Sheriff’s Department for September 2017. Second: Bohot. Aye Votes: Martin/Bohot/Phillips. Motion Approved.
Martin made motion to Approve Safety Meeting for District 3 Barn for September 2017. Second: Bohot. Aye Votes: Phillips/Bohot/Martin. Motion Approved.
Phillips made motion to Approve District 2 Barn for October 2017. Second: Bohot. Aye Votes: Martin/Bohot/Phillips. Motion Approved.
Martin made motion to Approve 324-A Claim from Pinnacle consulting for payment of Right of Way for District #3 Noble Wray Phase II Project, J/P #29914(04) in the amount of $4,450.00 to Todd Casebolt and Heather Casebolt. Second: Bohot. Aye Votes: Phillips/Martin/Bohot. Motion Approved.
Martin made motion to Approve Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the Town of Sugden and Jefferson County for July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018. Second: Bohot. Aye Votes: Phillips/Bohot/Martin. Motion Approved.
Review Jefferson County Employee Personnel Policy, Jefferson County Travel Policy, and the Jefferson County Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy for any changes that need to be made for the 2018 Policies.
Discussion was to not make any changes.
