Chairman Martin called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.
Traci Smith acknowledged that proper notice was given on February 2, 2018 at 8:50 a.m. and the agenda was posted on the bulletin board outside the courthouse and posted on the first-floor bulletin board.

Bohot made the motion to Approve Officers Monthly Reports and Review District Consumable Report. Second: Phillips. Aye Votes: Martin/Bohot/Phillips. Motion Approved.
Phillips made motion to Approve Monthly Fire Inspection for Elevator. Second: Martin. Aye Votes: Martin/Bohot/Phillips. Motion Approved.

Review Monthly report of Treasurer to State Auditor and Inspector for the month of January 2018.
Bohot made motion to Appoint Carl Gholson for District 1 Free Fair Board Member and Approve Resolution for Free Fair Board Election 2018 Results: Steve Howard for District 2 and Dustan Bryant for District 3 neither drew opponents. Second: Phillips. Aye Votes: Martin/Bohot/Phillips. Motion Approved.
Phillips made motion to Approve replacement of clothing to a person who was applying for Data Collection Job and was knocked down by a dog on which he tore her sweater and sleeve on blouse. Second: Bohot. Aye Votes: Bohot/Phillips. Nay Votes: Martin. Motion Approved.
Martin made motion to Approve 324-A Claim from Pinnacle Consulting for payment of Right-of-Way for Jefferson County D-3 Road Project: Noble Wray Phase II, JP#29914(04), in the amount of $10,000.00 to Duane Hager and Mabyn Hager. Second: Bohot. Aye Votes: Phillips/Bohot/Martin. Motion Approved.
Phillips made motion to Approve Removing Lee Aston and Candra Gibson as Receiving Officer for Sheriff’s department and adding Jimmy Williams as Receiving Officer. Second: Bohot. Aye Votes: Martin/Bohot/Phillips. Motion Approved.
Phillips made motion to Approve Transfer of Fund for Jefferson County Sheriff 04-B-7 in the amount of $43,080.60 to 04-B-1A in the amount of $31,965.60 and 04-B-5A in the amount of $11,115.00 for the purpose of meeting payroll for the remaining fiscal year 17-18. Second: Bohot. Aye Votes: Martin/Bohot/Phillips. Motion Approved.
