Medicare steps up its fight against diabetes

 Diabetes affects as many as one in four older adults with Medicare. It costs hundreds of billions of dollars to treat and results in the loss of tens of thousands of lives every year.

If we could better control diabetes, we’d be taking a huge leap toward creating a healthier America.

Diabetes occurs when your body doesn’t make enough insulin or doesn’t respond to the insulin it does make. Insulin is what your body uses to process sugar and turn it into energy.

When too much sugar stays in your blood, it can lead to serious complications and even life-threatening problems, including heart disease, strokes and kidney damage.

Medicare is committed to fighting the diabetes epidemic.

If you’re on Medicare and at risk for diabetes, you’re covered for two blood sugar screenings each year at no out-of-pocket cost to you. Risk factors include high blood pressure, a history of abnormal cholesterol and triglyceride levels, obesity or a history of high blood sugar.

If you’re diagnosed with diabetes, Medicare will help pay for blood sugar self-testing equipment and supplies, as well as insulin and other anti-diabetic drugs. In the event of diabetic foot disease, it will also help pay for therapeutic shoes or inserts as long as your podiatrist prescribes them.

Because living with diabetes can pose day-to-day challenges, Medicare covers a program to teach you how to manage the disease. With a written order from your physician, you can sign up for training that includes tips for monitoring blood sugar, taking medication and eating healthy.

In addition to the 30 million Americans with diabetes, another 86 million live with a condition known as pre-diabetes, where blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not high enough for a diabetes diagnosis.

Pre-diabetes is treatable. But only one in 10 people with the condition will even know they have it. Left untreated, one in three will develop the full-blown disease within several years.

Confronted with those statistics, Medicare is ramping up its efforts to prevent diabetes among the millions of Medicare beneficiaries who are at a heightened risk of developing it.

Several years ago, Medicare partnered with YMCAs nationwide to launch an initiative for patients with pre-diabetes. The pilot project showed that older people could lose weight through lifestyle counseling and regular meetings that stressed healthy eating habits and exercise.

About half of the participants shed an average of 5 percent of their weight, which health authorities say is enough to substantially reduce the risk of full-blown diabetes. Through adopting a healthier lifestyle, people diagnosed with pre-diabetes can delay the onset of the disease.  

Based on the trial program’s encouraging results, Medicare is now expanding its coverage for diabetes prevention. Using the pilot project as a model, it will help pay for a counseling program aimed at improving beneficiaries’ nutrition, increasing their physical activity and reducing stress.

If you have Medicare’s Part B medical insurance and are pre-diabetic, you’ll be able to enroll in a series of coaching sessions lasting one to two years and conducted by health care providers as well as community organizations like local senior centers. There will be no out-of-pocket cost.

Medicare is currently recruiting partners to offer the program so that it will be widely available to beneficiaries.

Diabetes can be a terribly debilitating disease. It can mean a lifetime of tests, injections and health challenges. Every five minutes in this country, 14 more adults are diagnosed with it. And in the same five minutes, two more people will die from diabetes-related causes.

If we can prevent more diabetes cases before they even start, we can help people live longer and fuller lives, as well as save money across our health care system.

Community Comes Together to Honor Local Heroes on Veterans Day

Members of the community stood in the freezing cold out of respect honoring those members of our armed forces who have served our nation so faithfully.

Stores were closed, banks were closed, and families and friends observed the memorial service in downtown Waurika at Veterans Park to observe Veterans Day following the annual parade.

The service began with the presentation of colors by the Sheppard Honor Guard from Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas.

Waurika graduate (class of 1999), Lieutenant Commander Misty R. Probst of the United States Navy, was the featured guest speaker.

Propst attended boot camp in Great Lakes, Illinois in 1999 and graduated Fire Controlman “A” school in 2000.

Her initial tour was aboard the USS Hayler (DD 997). Subsequent tours included : USS MAHAN (DDG 72). She was selected for the Seaman to Admiral (STA21) commissioning program in 2005.

Propst graduated Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA in 2008 with a B.S. In Psychology and a B.A. In History.

She was commissioned as a Surface Warfare Officer in 2008. After commissioning, her first tour was onboard the USS MONTEREY (CG 61) as the Electrical Officer.

In 2011 she entered Maritime Civil Affairs and Security Training Command as a Training Officer.

Propst second tour was onboard the USS SPRUANCE (DDG 111) as the Fire Control Officer.

She also served as the Assistant Force Personnel Officer for Commander, Naval Surface Force Pacific (COMNAVSURFPAC).

Lt. Probst earned her M.S. In International Relations from Troy University. Her first Department Head tour was onboard the USS COMSTOCK (lsd 45) as the Operations Officer. She is currently serving as the Operations Officer onboard the USS COWPENS (CG 63) in San Diego, California.

She is married to David Propst of Staunton, Virginia. They have one daughter and one son, Dakota and Trey.

In her speech she said, “I’m very happy to be back in Waurika today to be a part of this Veterans Day ceremony. I grew up in Hastings and moved here to Waurika during junior high.

“I owe so much to the people of this town. They taught me to work hard, persevere and the true power of encouragement.

“I remember growing up with my step-dad Johnny Stewart. There was a picture of his US Navy ship on the wall. We have so many members of our community who are veterans. As a teenager I didn’t realize that.

“My neighbor in Hastings, J.R. Gillespie, told me three things I needed to do to be successful in the Navy: Show up on time, wear the right uniform and keep my nose clean. I manage to do that most days in my service.

“When working at the Country Cooking Cafe with Joe and Debbie Jinks. Many of our coffee drinkers were veterans. I remember Jim Phelan. He was an aircraft pilot. He stayed in touch with me by sending me cards and letters.

“Ed Keith told me that one day I would be Lt. Montgomery (Montgomery was her maiden name).” It was his encouragement that inspired her to become an officer she said.

“My graduating class of 1999 had about ten members who joined the military. Most of us chose the Navy because Tyler Miller assured us that we would sleep in a clean rack instead of sleeping in the mud like the Army. Thank you Tyler, I appreciate that,” She said.

“On my first plane trip to Chicago and then to boot camp my time was made bearable because of letters from my mom, Joyce Gresham, who wrote me every single day. I really appreciate that Mom.

“The outpouring of kindness of people from Waurika always surprises me. In boot camp and on to deployment, I received cards from Debbie and Joe that had been signed by many members of the community who left little notes for me. These cards and letters meant so much to me and encouraged me. Especially during boot camp when all day I was getting screamed at.

“My courage to begin a career in the Navy and continue to serve is because of you.

“Even last year when I was promoted to Lt. Commander, I received a great reminder of my small town home still cared when I received a card and notes of congratulations.

“I ask you to cherish the veterans who still live here in our community. Stop and listen to their stories of adventure and faith.

“Without my faith in the Lord, I could never have made the US Navy a career.

“My comfort comes from Hebrews 13:5 where God says, ‘He will never leave me or forsake me.’”

She gave a special recognition to Vietnam vets who may not have been given a proper welcome upon their return home.

She thanked all the veterans present for their service at home and abroad.

She closed with the song, “God Bless the USA” that she says was introduced to her by her “amazing” teacher, Pat McGriff.”

Jon Waid, President of the Waurika Chamber of Commerce served as master of ceremonies for the memorial service while Pastor Adam Brinson of the First United Methodist Church of Waurika offered the prayer for our veterans and the safety of our men and women who serve our nation in uniform around the world.

Round Ryan October 17 2019

This has been a productive season for Ryan cross country.  The young runners in Jr. High School show improvement constantly and the High School boys seem to shave time off with each passing meet, but the High School girls have taken cross country to a new level here in Ryan.  This last week the Cowgirls have won their third team title in a row, Lilybet Harmon won her third individual title in a row and the Cowgirls have had five of the top ten finishers for the third time in a row.  Next weekend the cross country team will be competing at regionals.  At 12:30 this Saturday, we will all have the opportunity to watch this team in action at Waurika.  Basketball season will be starting soon.  To be honest, I have never really followed the sport.  I’m short, slow and uncoordinated, so it is easy to figure out why it’s not my sport.  In an effort to be fair I may give it a try this season, if nothing else it will give me a chance to see the new/old gym.  The football game this week will be against long time rivals Waurika Eagles.  This rivalry spans many decades and having witnessed it from both sides, I am glad to see that the modern version is much more genteel than it was in the old days.  Come out to the game and see some good football.  Game time is at 7:30 friday night at the Bob Givens Sports Complex.  If you play your cards right you might be able to get some supper as well.

 This next Sunday, October 20th from 11:00-2:00 there will be an Indian Taco dinner to raise funds for some of the community projects that are happening around Ryan.  It will be at the Sr. Citizens Center and the cost will be donations only.  I understand that they still need desserts if you would like to donate some sweets.  Take outs are available and Heather Casebolt guarantees that the food will be delicious.

 If you have been paying attention, you will have noticed that dirt work is going on out on the highway across from the football field.  They are coming along with the future home of the next dollar store for this area.

 Fall weather is finally upon us and it is wonderful.  Not to appear ungrateful but we could have done without that freeze the other night.  Ah well we have to take the bad with the good.  I am starting to see mums and pumpkins around town, decorating street corners and porches.  With the fall colors a, pumpkin flavored everything and the cool air, it seems that the main part of football season is here.  GO IRISH!!!

 Christmas On the Trail is coming up and we will be having another meeting on the 25th of this month.  If you are interested, you can attend or you can call or come see us with your ideas.  We are still looking for vendors and volunteers.  We are adding games and activities every week.

 I am sitting here listening to Adele sing about setting fire to the rain.  I’m not sure the lyrics make a lot of sense but she sure can sing.  Until next week.

Cowboys Snap Losing Streak With Victory Over Thackerville

While the Ryan Cowboys snapped a long losing streak last Thursday against Thackerville, it was still a difficult weekend for the Ryan squads.

Last Thursday, Thackerville edged the Cowgirls, 36-33, while the Cowboys scored a 42-39 victory over the Wildcats on Raymon West Court to end a six-game skid.

Ryan traveled to Healdton last Friday and fell in both contests. The Lady Bulldogs took advantage of poor shooting by the Cowgirls to gain a 43-26 verdict.

Healdton, 18-2 on the year and ranked 18th in Class 2A, rolled to a 48-13 victory over the Cowboys.

Against Healdton, the Cowgirls got off to a tough start falling behind the Lady Bulldogs, 9-1, after one quarter.

All of Healdton’s first-quarter points came on three converted long range field goals.

The Cowgirls battled the Lady Bulldogs on even terms in the second quarter and were competitive most of the rest of the game trailing by 15 points with just three minutes to play.

Ultimately it was the first quarter deficit that was too much to overcome.

Lily York led the Cowgirls in scoring with 10 points.

Coach Steve Spangler’s Cowgirls are still playing without one starter.

The Cowgirls have lost nine straight to the Lady Bulldogs dating back to the 1993 season.

The Cowboys were short-handed also as two starters were missing against Healdton with illness.

Healdton got off to an impressive start and took a 14-3 lead after the first quarter.

The Bulldogs struggled, however, in the second quarter, but the Cowboys could not trim the margin and trailed 19-5 at the half.

For the second time this season the Cowboys came out of the intermission and could not score a point. The Bulldogs went on a 16-0 run in the period for an insurmountable 35-5 lead heading into the final frame.

The Cowboys broke the scoring drought, but Healdton still managed to outscore Ryan, 13-8, to set the final margin.

The 13 points scored in the game is the second fewest in school history and is the fewest since recording only 15 points in a 1988 encounter with Sulphur.

Dawson Tomberlin was the leading scorer for Coach Judd Matthes’ squad with seven points.

The Cowboys have lost six of the last eight meetings with the Bulldogs dating back to the 1993 season.

In the game with Thackerville, the Cowgirls trailed by a 9-5 count after the first quarter and again it was hot outside shooting by the Lady Wildcats that doomed the Cowgirls.

Thackerville’s nine points came on three treys.

Thackerville was able to increase the margin to 20-15 at the half before the Cowgirls came alive after the halftime break and managed to narrow the score to 26-24 at the end of the third quarter.

In the fourth quarter, the Wildcats sealed the victory by scoring the last seven points from the free throw line. The Cowgirls could not cut into the deficit in the final frame thanks to missing three of five charity tosses.

York finished with 17 points for the Cowgirls and she was responsible for all five of Ryan’s first quarter point total.

Thackerville moved to 15-3 after this win.

The Cowgirls are 25-13 against Thackerville in the last 38 meetings, but have now lost two in a row to the Lady Wildcats.

The Cowboys established a seven-point lead after the first quarter and were able to extend the lead to 20-11 at intermission.

The Wildcats cut into the lead in the third quarter and trailed only 30-24 heading to the fourth quarter.

The Cowboys could not shake the Wildcats mainly because of a struggle at the free throw line.

For the entire game, Ryan only converted on 35% of its free throw attempts.

Skyler Parkhill led the Cowboys in scoring with 14 points and he scored five of the Cowboys’ eight first-quarter points and was the only player for the Cowboys to score in every quarter.

It was the fourth win in a row for the Cowboys over the Wildcats.

The Cowboys and Cowgirls were to have met Geronimo last Tuesday on Raymon West Court.

Both squads return to action tonight by traveling to Burneyville to face Turner for a doubleheader.

Tomorrow night will be Senior Night for the Cowgirl and Cowboy basketball teams as they play host to Temple.

Ryan will finish the regular season on Tuesday as they travel to Empire.

The Class A District Tournament will begin on February 9 at Central High

Waurika Teachers Not Walking Out?

A special school board  meeting was held Monday evening in the Waurika Library at 6:30 pm.

The subject of the meeting was to discuss any possible board action with regard to proposed teacher walkout.

Roxie Terry, Waurika Superintendent started the session saying that the teachers have not had a raise in nine years.

He also stated that their had been a decrease in school funding.

He said the teachers across the state feel that their back is against the wall. He said something has to be done. “We are losing teachers across the state.”

Terry went on to say that it was the Oklahoma Education Association who called for the Walkout scheduled for April 2, 2018.

He said the decision to participate in the walkout was not up to the administration.

A week ago the teachers voted 19-14 to stay in school and not participate in the walkout.

Someone had suggested that the vote was not fair. Mr. Simmons said later in the meeting that the vote was fair and teachers had not been influenced in anyway. He said he believed the teachers deserve a raise.

There was another vote taken. The second time 17 teachers voted  to participate in the walkout and 14 teachers voted not to walkout. Two teachers didn’t participate in the second vote.

Terry went on to state that with 17 teachers being absent it wouldn’t be possible to have school.

He further stated that they needed to decide whether or not to support the teachers by passing a resolution stating such and allow them to leave without loss of pay and what to do about the extra-curricular activities left on the school calender.

Terry said that the OSSAA would probably not change the sports calender just because the teachers had participated in the walkout.

Nobody could say how long the walkout may last.

This became a concern the board wanted to discuss because of the need to fulfill the number of days required to complete the school year.

Terry informed the board the length of the teacher’s absence was up to the teachers.

The last time there was a walkout, Terry said that the teachers were only absent from school for about four days.

Currently, Waurika has five days that they can use between now and the end of school that can be missed without having to have any makeup days.

Anything over those five days would require another day be tacked on to the end of the year for each day missed.

Waurika has 24 working days that have to be fulfilled starting April 2, 2018.

The walkout would affect support people Terry said. It could even possibly hurt their pay. (The board voted to continue to pay support staff if there is a walkout).

According to Mr. Terry, Red River VoTech will still be conducting classes and the school will continue to run a bus to Red River.

The special education bus that takes students to Walters will continue to run each school day.

An immediate question that was asked was “Who will take the students to the extra-curricular activities?” The answer was that some teachers had volunteered to take students to the scheduled sport activities that are on the schedule. This would become a point of contention later in the meeting.

The concern the board expressed was in essence that not teaching in the classroom and yet still participating in athletics was setting a bad example for the students— as if to say that sports is more important than education.

The board wanted to know what was meant by “work stoppage” and Mr. Terry said that it meant that all classroom instruction would be suspended. The teachers would not be in the classrooms.

The next question that was asked was “when will the walkout end?”

There was no definite answer to that question.

The board did vote to support the teachers and not penalize them financially for participating in the walkout. Board members expressed their support for the teachers having a raise and that they appreciate all that they do for our students.

Board members expressed that if the teachers were walking out that it should encompass all activities and not just classroom activities. Otherwise it defeats the purpose. Therefore,  if the teachers walk out on April 2, there will be no further school activities until the teachers return to their contracted duties in the classrooms.

According to Mr. Terry, on Tuesday afternoon, the day after the emergency board meeting, 65% of the teachers decided to not participate in the walkout.

Mr. Terry felt confident that there should be enough teachers present to have school this coming Monday.

Mrs. Herron- Pre-K

Addilyn Fletcher: First, Co gets the turkey out of the icebox and puts it in the oven for 6 minutes. Next, she turns on a movie for me about Hocus Pocus. Then, we eat the turkey with a fork and chicken on top. Last, I go to play and Mo goes to the couch.

Andrew Klein: First, Mom cooks noodles for 3 minutes. Next, we eat them with pizza rolls. Then, we go to Chuck-e-cheese. Last, I read a book at my house.

Aryalyn Johnson: Fist, mom puts it in the microwave for a little bit. Next, we eat it and drink chocolate milk. Then, for dessert we eat a chocolate bar and ice cream. Last, we go to bed.

Ava Fannon: first, mom puts the turkey in the big microwave for 6 minutes. Next, she cuts the turkey, but she doesn’t let me eat the bones. Then, we eat it with cherry pie. Last, we go to bed.

Draven Billy: First, mom put some salt and pepper on the turkey and adds burger patties to it. Next, she takes out the bones. Mom cooks it on the stove for a while. Then, she waits and then we eat it and for dessert I have Tiger Bites. Last, My sister and I play tag at the park.

Jayden Vasquez: First, Mom puts the turkey in the Ice box for a long time. Next, she puts it on the table. Then, we wait 1 second to eat the turkey with macaroni. Last, we put the turkey in the trash.

Jordan Alvarez: First, Mom goes to find a turkey at the farm. Next, she cooks it in the microwave for 2 seconds. Then, we eat it with skittles. Last, we go play at the park.

Kyree Rodriguez: First, mom puts the turkey in the pan on the stove for 4 minutes. Next, she puts gloves on and takes the turkey out. Then, I play and wait for my food. Last, we eat turkey with ketchup on it.

Lillian Ruiz: First, momma takes the turkey’s body out and puts salt on it. Next, she mixes cookies with it and cooks it in the oven for 40 minutes. Then, we eat the turkey with unicorn cookies. Last, we eat green with chocolate chip ice cream.

Thomas Hatter- First, momma puts seasoning on the turkey. Next, we eat it. Last, I go play outside with my dogs.

Waylon Harris: First, Nana puts the turkey in the oven for 5 minutes. Next, we all go to her house to eat it with salt. Then, we drink ice tea. No dessert, but I ate cupcakes when I. got home. Last, I played outside with nana’s dog.

Taylen Hawkins: First, mom puts the turkey in the oven for 30 minutes. Next, she puts the turkey in a pan and sets it on the kitchen table. Then, we eat it with popsicles. Last, we clean up our mess.

Hadlee Stallcup: First, pour milk in the turkey. Next, put corn and cucumbers in it. Then, put it in the oven. Last, make sure it’s tasty.

Lillian Schrader: First, put it in water if it is frozen. Next, cook it. Then, take it out. Last, Eat it.

Mckinsley Robertson: First, put sugar in the middle. Next, pour milk on it. Then, put a little rice. Last, put a little chicken.

Morgandee Lindsey: First, put butter on it. Next, banana in the turkey. Then, cook it. Last, eat it.

Scarlett Cornelison: First, put it in the oven. Next, let it cool off. Then, cut a piece. Last, eat it.

Mrs. Martin Kindergarten 

Julianna: First, Go buy turkey at the store. Take off plastic. Next, wait, take it out. Last, then eat. My favorite dish is mac n cheese.

Alice: First, kill it. Go to the house. Take off the feathers. Next, put it in the oven. Oven set at 7 degrees and cook for 2 minutes. Then, get out of the oven. Put it on the plate. Then get utensils. Last, eat it! Turkey and cookies are my favorite!

Zepplin: First, Go to the store, get turkey and take it out of the wrapper. Next, get a pan, put the turkey in the oven. Then, turn the oven to 5 degrees for 10 hours. Last, we eat it. Turkey and rolls with butter are my favorite.

Violet: First, go to the grocery store, cut the feathers, and head off so you don’t eat that part. Next, put salt and pepper on it, get it out. Last, eat it! Jello is my favorite to eat.

Kristoff: First, go to the store and buy a turkey. Next, take it home, 5 degree oven for 6 minutes. Then, eat it! My favorite is eating turkey.

Kasen: First, get turkey from Wal-Mart and take package off. Next, cook it at 12 degrees for 5 minutes. Then, eat it! Last, turkey is my fav.

Montana: First, go to Walm-Mart and buy one. Next, I will go and cook it at 99 degrees for 18 minutes. Then, Take it out and eat it with a knife, fork, and spoon.

Hooper: First, go kill a turkey then go home. Next, put it in the oven at 90 degrees for 9 minutes. Then, take out of the oven and eat it. Last, My favorite is the turkey!

Emerson: First, go find one behind the bushes. Then take the feathers off. Next, put the timer on 4 o’clock. Then, take it out and eat. Last, my favorite thing is the turkey.

Shaelie: First go to Wal-Mart get turkey. Next, Take to my house and put oven on 25 degrees and cook it for 26 hours. Then, wait until done then eat it. Last, my favorite thing is turkey and watermelon. 

Mateo: First, buy it at the store. Get a pan and out it in. Next, Put in oven at 10 million degrees for just 5 minutes. Then, open oven give it to my family and eat it. My favorite is marshmallows.

Daniel: First, go hunting for it. Bring it home. Next, cut it up and cook it. Put in oven at 60 degrees for 30 minutes. Then, you take it out of oven and cool it down. Last, you eat!! Turkey is my favorite.

Janie: First, go buy turkey at store. Next, take it to the house. Put the oven on 6 percent for 6 minutes. Them, put it on a plate. Then you get some utensils. Last, start eating! Ham and turkey are my favorite.

Presley: First, go to the store. Next, cook it. 4 degrees for 6 minutes. Then, eat it!

Faridah: First, catch one, put it on top of a pan. Next, turn oven to 5 degrees and cook for 10 minutes. Get it out. Than, eat it. My favorite is the turkey!

Birdie B: In the oven for 45 hours with sprinkles. We don’t eat turkey. Feed it to the dogs and they can eat it with dog food.

Brooks B: In the oven first then on the stove for 65 hours. On top put pepperoni, cheese, pizza turkey, sprinkles,donuts, candy shirts, Ms. Sharon’s head and books, candy pumpkins, pencils, an eye, a picture of my brother I love, wrapped rocks and road lights. (Thank you Brooks, you can go play. But Ms. Sharon, I want to fill your whole page of paper, I am not done. I know Brooks, but I need to interview the other kids before they go home, lol!!!) 

Connor H: We don’t eat it. We eat chicken eggs. Travis, my dad, cooks them in a pan on the stove for 8 hours. We put sprinkles on cupcakes. I live with my dog Ace. I like to play with fire trucks with the hose and lights. We eat macaroni and cheese, bacon and cheese.

Max E: First we get a flying bird and cook it for 1 hour with sauce. Then it flies again and we eat it. Then we play on the playground.

Bowyn Clark: Get the turkey at home. Put juice on it. Don’t cook it or it will burn!

Bella Luttrull: Get the turkey from outside. Put ice on it. Put I the oven and let it cook for 3 hours.  It will be hot!

Cleo Hobbs:  Get a turkey from outside.

Dawson Johnson: Hunt the turkey by the tree.  Then kill it with your fingernails and hit it.  Put it in the oven for 5 hours.  Take it out and rub it with icing.

Jayden Villarreal: Get the turkey from the forest.  Bake it in the oven for 20 minutes.  Then eat it.

Kyndal Klein:  Get the turkey from the tree.  Put it in the oven, then eat it.

Sawyer Dewbre: First, you cut up the turkey. Next, cook it for 8 minutes in a hot oven. Then eat it!

Jade Harrison: First, you buy a turkey from the supermarket, then you cook it for 6 minutes. Put it in a pan and then you eat it.

Denny Johnson: First, kill a turkey in the country. Next, cook it in the oven for 1 hour. Last, I will eat it.

Bentley Kimbro: First, I will get a turkey from Walmart. Next, put it in the oven for 15 minutes. It will beep when it’s done. Then eat it.

Laiklee Klein: First, get the turkey out of the fridge. Cook it in the oven for about 2 hours, until it beeps. Then take it out and put it on your table. Ask the kids to come to the table and eat it. Then tell your mom when you’re done and clean your mess up!

Margot Roberts:  put it in a pan and put in a *10 oven for 12 minutes and then it’s done.

Olivia Gibson:  Stuff my turkey with a chicken then wash it off and wash my hand the put it in a pot and cook it on the stove at high heat for 22 minutes. Then invite all the family over to eat it.  

Preston Rodriguez:  First I’m going to stuff my turkey with more turkey then I’m going to hang it on the wall.  Going to get off the wall pot it in a *1000 oven for 1 minute then take it out to eat it.  

Remi Brown:  I would put it on a red plate and put it in the oven at 98/ 55 degrees for 80 minutes.  Then move it to a different plate and add some smoke to it then put it on the table and eat it.
